"Fintel is rural on the outskirts of the Lüneburg Heide. The area is beautiful and ideal for walks and bird watching. Frau Anker is an excellent host and the accommodation is as described and met all our needs. There is great attention to detail and many little extras including doing our washing at no extra charge. Only small gripe was the required £50 cleaning fee which was not advertised up front. Highly recommended."

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."

"Ganz einfach gesagt - absolut wunderbar! For all English speakers - absolutely wonderful place to stay for a holiday. If you have not considered Northern Germany, please do. It is a less-traveled place...that begs to be discovered. And if you decide to give it a try, I must recommend this vacation home in the middle of both a vacation neighborhood and in the middle of the Altes Land (amazing history and experience)."

"Es war wirklich toll! Die Kommunikation zwischen unerer Gastgeberin und uns war perfekt. Wir haben direkt vor der Castia einen Parkplatz bekommen und es war eine herzliche und entspannte Begrüßung. Die Casita selber ist mit viel liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Eine schöne küche, mit vielen küchengeräten, die direkt zum kochen eingeladen hat, ein Schaukelstuhl den man sonst nur noch aus alten zeiten kennt war für uns eines der Highlights, so wie auch die Wendeltreppe nach oben. Das Badezimmer ist...
