"Had room 406 on the top floor with a sea view and plenty of space. Reasonably quite room with minimal noise from vehicles in the street. Good views out to sea. The floor slightly slopes in parts. Breakfast was included and provided a good range of food. At times it was very busy and there were the occasional short delays whilst items were re-stocked. We ate dinner in the Braserie 3 times and it was good quality. Would recommend the Empress."

"This is a great hotel on the Prom and only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. The bed was wonderful and bathroom was nice and big. Included breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip! Top choice for our next trip to Douglas!!"

"From the front desk through the rest of the property, everyone was exceptional. I’m very grateful for the experience I had there. Tim and Claire at the front desk were great and the staff serving drink and food were very accommodating and kind. Would recommend the Empress.
