"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."

The house has everything you could need for an over night stay to a long stay... and more! Enough room for all to come together or have your own space. "Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

The secret garden was a nice place for sunset drinks and there’s a bigger field we were able to use for laser clay pigeon shooting! The grounds are beautiful.
