"The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan....

"Fantastic location in a very picturesque setting with a lovely little river flowing across the bottom of the field. The Shepherds hut was spotless with home made cakes an eggs supplied by the owner. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the chemical toilet smell that seemed to linger around the hut and we had to burn a lavender candle (provided ) to take it away. Not sure if it is normal for it to smell strongly but looking at previous reviews , probably not. "

"Me and my girlfriend had a lovely stay here which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The lodge was in a perfect location, close to lovely towns like Ulverston and Broughton-in-Furness. The views from the lodge were spectacular looking over at the estuary. The hot tub was a lovely touch and was in there every day. The lodge was very clean and modern fully equipped with all the essentials, never struggled for space with the lovely walking wardrobe. The owner Maxine was very helpful during our stay by...
