"The property was just right for us. The drive up the mountain is not for the weak of heart though as most of the climb is on steep and narrow roads. That said, most folks take it slow and work together to get where they need to go safely. The view was stunning and the atmosphere relaxing. Pool was key. We did not stay long enough to use the grill or pizza oven but it was fun to have. "

"This home is great for families and groups. The grounds and pool are lovely. Pool is awesome and provided you have a rental car or are OK with cabs, the porperty is close to Chnaia town and other restaurants are within walking distance."

"Logement idéal pour notre premier séjour en Crète : accueil crétois au top, calme, authenticité. Très jolie maison crétoise au milieu d'orangers, de citronniers et d'oliviers. Accueil extra de Kovi et Mamie Stravoula !! De nombreux conseils des endroits à visiter et partage de la culture crétoise. Location recommandée les yeux fermés !! Merci Mamie et Kovi."

The villa was perfect, arranged exactly as we requested and additional amenities (in house chef prepared dinners, maid service and prestocked refrigerator) were delivered perfectly. "11 of us stayed at Villa Faidra for a long weekend. The villa is beautiful and as listed. The set up is perfect for chilling by the pool, having big bbqs and relaxing. It is about a 20 - 30 minute drive to Chania town depending on traffic. "They welcomed me at midnight and were so kind. The room was clean and beautiful. Our window overlooked the harbor! Breakfast in the morning was delicious, with a wide variety of Greek delicacies. Thank up for a wonderful stay’"

"We had 8 days of pure relaxation on our honeymoon at the SanSal hotel. The hotel is modern. Our room was lovely and somehow always cool in high temperature. Amazing view from our balcony. The staff are super friendly. We loved spending time on the roof top pool area. Its a short walk to beaches and into the brilliant old town I would 💯 recommend this hotel if you are thinking of staying in Chania. We will come back again. "

"We loved everything about this hotel. From its unique design and history to its beautifully quiet and yet central location. We enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and couldn’t fault the staff. From the housekeeping staff through to the receptionists and their welcome (also very helpful for our car hire pick up) through to the dining staff. We felt very fortunate to be able to start our Crete vacation here. "
