I chose the Hive House because it was great value for money. There were many good things about this hotel. Even though there is no reception the entry and exit to hotel and rooms were very easy with a code. The hotel is very clean and with new amenities. Kitchen had full size fridge and all the appliances and cutlery. Perfect for a couple or family with a kid. The only issue was the toilet door. It is a sliding door which has about an inch open even when closed. So if you are not comfortable with that kind of toilet arrangement you may not like it. Otherwise another positive aspect was covered parking that was free. Overall still a great place to stay at a great location.

Property was beautiful! The room was really clean and well maintained. Even though staff is not on site the communication was top notch! They responded quickly and made sure we had everything that we needed. This was one of the easiest check in processes I’ve had at a hotel. The only thing I suggest is that you provide a Starbucks coffee machine near the vending and snacks (since I’m a coffee head lol!) I believe that would be a nice touch. I definitely be back to stay!

I didn't read enough when booking the stay and didn't realize the check in process was virtual. I was caught off guard by there not being someone to check me in, but the process was super easy to do on my phone and customer service was friendly and fast to respond via text. Was only there for one night but there are multiple restaurants in walking distance. I had a fantastic bowl of ramen at noodle boulevard and came back and played a couple of games of pool in the lounge. My suite was clean and my bed comfy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Could tell room was half clean. Counters still dirty and a used lotion was given to me in the bathroom. The rooms A/C did not work and it was so warm I couldn’t sleep. Also the coffee make was dirty inside, would recommend machines with detachable water reservoirs we can clean before use. The blankets were also incredibly itchy and no too sheet option for those who don’t like blankets. The most noticeable & worst was the sewage smell in the lobby

Enjoyed our stay. Please share with other guest about the other hotels that you have access too for amenities. Didn’t know that until checkout so missed a lot of things I wanted to do. Also didn’t know vending machines were o. The 2nd floor useful to know when customer service is unable after a certain time.

Super clean and quiet little no-frills location sitting in the shadows of two major hotels..no staff on site but unless you have some kind of weird emergency, there's no need..within walking distance to some pretty decent restaurants and REI and convenient to the I40/440 interchange..if you want peace and quiet and love a place that quietly flies under the radar, then check out Hive House...

Its was a really neat and well decorated hotel. It was VERY quiet when we were there. We only saw 2 other people despite the parking lot being full. I do wish it had a continental bkfast but each suite has a kitchen so really no need i guess. The lighting in the sitting area in room needs improvement. Other than that it was great. Enjoyed our one night stay.

We had a great stay overall. The room was very clean and modern, and the area felt safe with plenty of restaurants, stores, and other conveniences nearby. Everything was comfortable and well organized. The only small notes would be that the price felt a little on the higher side, and since the room faces a highway, the window sound insulation could be a bit better as some traffic noise can be heard. Overall, still a very nice place to stay.

My room was clean and cozy! I enjoyed my stay. It was like living in a mini apartment. The only complaint I have is the faint smell when you enter the building. Other than that, this was the perfect place for a mini vacation!

One of my favorite hotels to stay at in my life! The hotel and my room was immaculate, check-in was easy and fast, the call to management for help was fast and very friendly, and the eclectic decor made it feel so much less like a sterile hotel. I’ll be staying here every time I visit Raleigh.

Our room was spotless and the cutest updated decor. The bed was super comfy, and we had every amenity we needed - they even provided ear plugs in case the highway noise was too much! (It wasn’t - in fact it provided great white noise to lull us to sleep) Check in couldn’t have been easier. We loved the Hive House and will definitely stay here again.
Even the towels were folded like bees!!

Housekeeping was helpful and great. There no front desk attendant so housekeeping helping with broken things or questions. They are only there for a few hours a day. Loved the suite and full kitchen. The hotel is small, so it stayed very quiet. Good location.

The room was very clean and well-stocked. The decor was just funky enough to be interesting but not so much as to be jarring. The beds were very comfortable. There were two casual restaurants just across the parking lot that were perfect for grabbing a quick bite. We will stay again.
