"The home sits on an inlet on Puget Sound with a view of the Olympic Mountains. The inlet is teaming with birds, seals, fish ...the tidal pool close by provide much entertainment. The house sleeps 10 comfortably..adding additional quests would be challenging. The decks provide lovely gathering spots. Kayaks were provided with paddles and life jackets. We enjoyed the quiet surrounding."

"This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time."

"Home was comfortable with lots of room to visit and kids to play, close to shopping and restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved staying here. 3 brothers and their families and everyone had room. It was perfect. Host was quick to respond when I had a question and house was clean and stocked with necessities. Would 100% stay here again!"

"Very nice house, great place to stay. Lots of seating, both inside and in the different outside areas. We all very much liked it and would gladly stay again. It was our first time on Anderson Island and definitely not our last. A few caveats, though- the driveway is steep, and made of loose gravel. Can be a bit tricky, particularly if your car is loaded with multiple people. The bunkbeds in the main floor bedroom are rated for a weight limit of 165 lbs- so probably just for kids or smaller...

"This was a very cool house that I would recommend to most families. Two families could stay in this house together, but more than that it's not comfortable for the adults. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs for adult couples to stay in and an upstairs loft with a ton of space for kids to sleep. The upstairs loft does have a queen bed for a couple who's willing to sleep upstairs with the kids. This is what we had to do and it was very difficult to sleep because the noise from downstairs carries...

"We had a nice weekend stay at this historic house. All appliances and conveniences have been updated with the latest, and we felt comfortable and at home there. Parking is a bit tight in the alley, but our Subaru Outback fit fine. The location is in walking distance to the Capitol building and many downtown locations."
