"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. There was no TV, no WiFi connection facilitated, no freezer compartment in the fridge, not even a teapot or breadbin. To compound our...

"The hut on the hill is stunning, as is the barn. The owners Mandy & David provided everything you could possibly need. Fresh white fluffy towels & dressing gowns/ eggs/ milk/ cake/ bread and a bed/ bowl/ leads& treats for our dogs. The hot tub was a wonderful temperature. The bed was comfy and the shower & loo brill. Both the hut and barn were decorated beautifully and all mod cons provided. The scenery was stunning & peaceful. Thanku to the owners soo lovely !"

"What a fabulous couple of days we had staying in Betty. It was amazing just to be able to decompress in such a beautiful spot. Quiet -we didn’t actually see a soul the whole time we were there. Betty has everything you can possibly want from a comfy bed to a power shower. Lovely walks near by. We shall be back!"
