"Parking lot was well lit. Room was clean. Breakfast included hot offerings like sausage and waffles. Pool area was clean. Pool was comfortable, not cold.. Hot tub was actually hot and not just warm like some places we have stayed. Both were fully operational. Front desk staff at check in was the kindest guy. We've stayed here before and the remodel really makes a huge difference. Looks great!"

"The Riverside Motel is a quaint little hotel. Our room was a very nice size. It was clean and well decorated and looked out at the river. There were lots of places for guests to sit outside and enjoy the lake. It even had a little dock if you wanted to wet your line. A great breakfast/lunch restaurant is right across the street and downtown Hayward is just minutes away. We would highly recommend the Riverside Motel for your Hayward stay."

"Great facility with lots to offer. Really super clean rooms comfortable beds. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The lady at the front desk Gwen, was fantastic she upgraded our room with a lake view. We appreciated all the information that she gave regarding where to eat since this was our first time in Hayward. The only thing about the service was we requested some fresh towels and never got them. But really a well appointed room nicely done only one problem was the bathroom you feel like your in a closet and there's no room kind of a weird set up. But everything was to date and clean! Appreciated the hot tub and the sauna and the pool was huge for a hotel. Highly recommend this hotel. I would give it 6 stars!"
