"The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, they waited for us, as we were running a little late. We want to visit again. Beautiful setting. Lovely to our dog. Very special location. "
"Hotel is really quaint and done within several very old buildings - as best as possible. Decent accommodations, with the givens of walking up and down numerous stairs, dark hallways, etc.
Personnel there ranges from: exceptionally sweet young woman - who carried our heavy suitcases up two steep stairs (no elevator) - to a very unfriendly male. Requests like - making a call on our behalf to a beauty salon - were met with dismay (by the male).

"Although a modern, functional building, much had been done to create a welcoming environment. In particular, trees and flower planting and patio furniture."
"Beautiful quaint hotel. Would have been perfect but it was very hot when we were there but hotel quickly provided a fan that helped. The breakfast was very good and we loved the area. "
"Superb accommodation. Beautifully considered mix of the old and the new. I have stayed her a number of times and LOVE it. The greatest pleasure was to have sole access to the whole Abbaye when the public left. MAGICAL. The erastuiarant is also very special."
"This is a superb renovation of a very old Manor House. The building is absolutely spectacular as are the rooms.
The owners are extremely friendly and very welcoming. "
"A lovely place and room for our stopover on the way back from SW France. Olivier and Bruno were very helpful and a good breakfast included. Would totally recommend."
"Great location. Historic building. Good mix of historical features and modernity in lounges and dining area. Helpful, friendly staff. Dining experience very good. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at La Croix Blanche."

"Beautiful hotel with magnificent view, very nice staff"
"The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, they waited for us, as we were running a little late. We want to visit again. Beautiful setting. Lovely to our dog. Very special location. "
"The reception was outstanding. We arrived early and were made to feel most welcome. The room is large, modern and lovely. Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."
"The property is nicely situated with one other house nearby yet close to the village. Very convenient for exploring the beautiful Loire valley. The property is effectively two houses cleverly linked by the very spacious kitchen. Visiting with our grown up family the layout was superb for privacy with separate bathrooms each side. The stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms especially the mezzanine.and all beds are singles but are arranged together. The pool is beautifully clean and a good size.. It is a really wonderful place to stay and we really enjoyed staying there."
