"Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). The breakfast was simple and included fruit, juice, yogurt, sliced cheese and cold cut, packages sweets, tea, coffee and water. The owners were...

"Bit of confusion regarding room and breakfast. I think the error was from both the hotel and Expedia. However after discussion with management all was resolved very amicably because of friendly nature of staff who went out it of their way to resolve the issues . "
"Die Lage und die Weinfarm sind sehr schön gelegen und bilden ein wunderschönes Ensemble. Die Unterkunft war in Ordnung. Bäder könnten sauberer sein. Handtuchwechsel war auch nach drei Tagen nicht. "ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. My husband and I brought our 7-year old for a 10-day trip in Italy. We explored Rome and Florence but the highlight of our entire experience was staying at Villa la Palagina. The surroundings are gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was so warm and gracious. It was the perfect getaway from the busy city centers. We booked a wine/olive oil tasting and we got to bring home a souvenir bottle that our son poured and corked directly from the barrel. While the furnishings in our villa were a bit rustic and outdated, the AC and main pools more than made up for it. Especially on those 95+ degree days. 5 stars across the board and I hope we get the chance to visit again!"
"Second stay at this property but got a 3 bed 2 bath cabin this time. Happy with most things could have had more housekeeping for a ten day stay. Great base to explore Tuscany excellent bar especially the staff as well as a nice restaurant "

"There was 7 of us that stayed here at the end of June into July for 10 nights. This is better than the pictures show, the location was fantastic (you will ideally need a car to see Tuscany if not Arezzo train station has good links and is about 15 minute taxi journey away). The pool was a god send and better than we expected and is a really good size. The table tennis in the late afternoon shade provided good entertainment and house was fully equipped. Maurizio the host is an absolute gent, and was so helpful in helping us settle in and giving some great advice on places to go and places to eat. Would 100% recommend"
