"Our favourite place to stay in Scarborough! Although the pool section was getting a facelift again, was nice to have another option. The buffet breakfast was super and had different items one day to the next which was nice. They even provided a boxed breakfast since we had to leave really early in the morning to catch a flight! The only downfalls from our stay were: no spare toilet paper roll in room upon arrival, our phone wouldnt work to call the reception area and the fan in the bathroom didnt work so when taking a shower the mirrors would really fog up even in the entrance to the room. We also dont take super hot showers. Otherwise was a great stay as always and the front reception was helpful with everything!"

"My husband, Daughter and I stayed at Seashells, Communication prior to arriving was great. Unfortunately I did not receive the email explaining that check in was between 2pm and 4pm, we arrived at 4.10pm, only just caught the receptionistas she was leaving, who was very obliging. Our 2 bedroom unit was very nice, and had everything you needed, a shared (Jack and Jill) bathroom with shower and bath, separate toilet and handbasin, which was great. Very quiet, and our patio had sea views, the other one had pool views. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, the beds were super comfortable, and the white louvres great, but they are old, need painting and one broke when I moved it from open to closed. The apartment is spacious, the kitchen floor tiles are cracked so need replacing, the bathroom has no opening windows, just an extractor fan, which can lead to mould forming in the shower. The Dual handbasins were very handy, plenty of room in the bedrooms and wardrobe space. There is free onsite parking, but parking on the street is fine so long as you move your vehicle within the 2 hour limit after 8am in the morning. Plenty of restaurants along the water front, so many good choices. Really enjoyed our stay at Seashells, highly recommend it to everyone."

"The place was compact but easy to get to and comfortable. It was clean and the host was excellent. He was both responsive and helpful. He made the stay easy. I would recommend this place. Can easily cook in the very small facility though would be great if there were a few more amenities, like olive oil, salt/pepper, spices, few more knives, containers for leftovers, blender, soap/shampoo. The owner did graciously offer some of the above items when asked but perhaps next time they will just be there for someone staying more than a few days."

"Could not complain about anything. The apartment was Clean & Everything we needed was there. The View was amazing. The location fantastic Walking distance to everything Coles & Liquorland included. Fantastic Italian restaurant over the road & Amazing Bakery in the same building as us. Reception very helpful, Cleaning staff friendly. Walk to the Beach & Pool. Thank you - Heather Morgan"

"Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all. Positives were that the room was spacious, comfortable and conventionally for where I needed to be."
