"I am a repeat visitor over many years, quite favorably disposed to the place. I am a little concerned about the availability of drinkable water. The water coming out of my room tap did not taste good. The grocery store across the street has closed, possibly for good. The front desk was out of bottled water when I asked. The answer might be BYOH2O. Also, maybe add one or two healthful items to the menu. I’m still coming back, regardless. It is just such a unique experience."

"A peaceful lakeside retreat we can’t wait to return to!We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. It was roomy and comfortable, and spotlessly clean when we arrived. The setting is truly relaxing: the view is amazing, and having direct lake access made it easy to slow down and enjoy every moment.The canoes and kayaks were a highlight. Paddling out on the lake was so much fun and a great way to explore. The kitchen was also very usable and stocked with everything we needed, so cooking was easy and enjoyable.The nature viewing was incredible. We spotted loons, otters, eagles, geese, deer, kingfishers, and even trout in the water. It felt like having a front-row seat to the wildlife all weekend.We will definitely be back, and next time we’re bringing our teenagers along. They’re going to love it as much as we did. Highly recommend!"
Sunset Beach Cottage, charming, clean & comfortable with ocean-view

"This house is very small, but it was absolutely perfect for my wife and me. The view from the front window and the deck is fantastic, and watching the sun go down each evening was the perfect way to end the day.The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, making it easy to feel right at home during our stay. The house was also very clean and well maintained.One unique feature is that the floors have a slight slope to them. At first it felt a little unusual, but it really adds to the character and charm of a home that has stood the test of time and served generations on the beach. Rather than taking away from the experience, it reminded us of the history and personality of the property.We also had the pleasure of meeting the neighbor to the south, who was very friendly and welcoming. Between the cozy atmosphere, beautiful views, and unique charm, this was a wonderful place to stay. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway."

"Beautiful property -and clean and comfortable accommodations! We had a bit of trouble finding it at dusk, but the directions were fine-just hard to match up with what we could see on the road! We were only here for a brief overnight trip, but wished we could have stayed longer! LOVED waking up to see the elk through the morning mist right in front of the cabin! Very magical! We hope to come back some time! Thank you for sharing this place with us!"
