"Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove."

"We had a very comfortable stay. The remoteness was good for us as we love walking. We would have liked the TV working but due to storm no TV or movies. Loved the cats and dogs. Overall cosy, welcoming, clean, rural and great for our family reunion. Thank you to Barbara and family. "

"Interesting property, attached to an OLD castle, and another in walking distance. We did have a problem with the shower and the host was able to get it. Replaced within 48 hours, but it was incredibly inconvenient and disappointing. Limited our ability to travel for one and a half days. The Internet is slow and intermittent, but we didn’t really need it other than for basic communications. The TV and streaming apps simply paused, didn’t work Consistently throughout our trip. "This is the ideal spot for exploring and enjoying the surrounding areas. The home is immaculate, cozy and picturesque. It is centrally located to Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Galway, etc. The house was fabulous but Ann, the host, was phenomenal. She gave wonderful advice about places to explore, was responsive to inquiries and just an all around wonderful person. We are so glad we found this home and appreciate Ann opening it up to us!"

"The cottage was clean and charming. It was in an excellent location overlooking country farms and the Oceanside inlet town of Kilkee and near dramatically beautiful cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. The owners Thomas and Margaret were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would strongly recommend this place for an Irish vacation."
