"Great location for exploring the area which is so beautiful and varied. Sad the hotel is currently closed. Nice grounds, great outdoor unheated pool. Our lodge was spacious, cosy and clean for 6 people, if rather tired and dated , a few kitchen items down, and only had a one ring cooker. We gave various after -stay feedback to tve host about eg defunct microwave left outside tve property, . We would go again, as lots of plusses but choose a better -equipped lodge with the same company."

"Photos don’t really show how small the pod is. Very cramped. Weather didn’t help as it rained constantly. Not ideal. Left after one night Had to wait ten minutes in the rain for the host to sort herself and dogs out so I could get the key."

"Great location within lovely grounds and fab hot tub. Really nice pub called the Rose and Crown only a 10 minute drive away with great food. Stay was made all the better with the gorgeous weather!"
