We had an excellent stay. Communication with the host was prompt and attentive. Our kids loved playing outside around the lake and there was a stream right outside the house that we loved listening to.
Our stay was fantastic. The cabin and property are outstanding. The pictures don’t do it justice. Our host Lori was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
Our family loved this cute log cabin over spring break! The kids loved playing on the snow, fishing at the pond and we enjoyed having fires in the wood burning stove at night. Great hiking all around the surrounding mountains and in the gorge. Lori was great and we loved our stay.
The cabin was perfect. The creek running off the back of the property was my favorite part. If you want to escape and enjoy a quiet place, this is your place.
Overall impression was great!! Off the beaten path, but exactly what we enjoy! We would stay here again, if in the area. We had one glitch with the heater, but Lori resolved it the next day. We would recommend this property to any Vrbo patrons.
We stayed here for our vacation after Christmas. The cabin was exactly how it was portrayed in the ad. It was perfect size for the 6 of us. The location was convenient. The only complaint I have is the noise coming from up the hill. The moving of heavy equipment and loud trucks in the middle of the night. Other than that l, we had a wonderful stay.
Cabin was very nice. We had room to park trailer with can am on it. Very quiet around us. Host was very nice and answered any questions we had about the town.
located very close to FS134 for quick access to trails to Cabresto Lake, Greenie Peek and on to Red River. Just pulled the SXS off the trailer and went. Its a bit confusing at night to find the location but the property mngr is awesome and will guide you in no matter the late hour of your arrival. Its very quiet area and the creek running by the cabins is very soothing.
We loved the cabin, but we did think there was more of a Mountain View though based on listing. The clear water pond full of fish and the running creek sounds were the most relaxing part of our week. The beds are super comfortable, and the cabin has everything you need. Be aware that there is a saw mill behind the property that disrupts the serenity pretty often with chainsaw noises. Other than that, it was a perfect weekend!!
Such a beautiful and peaceful property. We enjoyed every aspect of the cabin and property. We did a lot of ice fishing and just relaxing. The cabin was well supplied with cooking equipment, I cooked most meals every day during our week stay. They provided plenty of fire wood for the fireplace and also had an additional heat source so we were very warm and comfortable. The only downside is their water is not very warm. I did let the owners know and my understanding is they are going to take care of so this may not be an issue now. Communication was excellent as well.
Checked in after dark, had to have property owner send someone to drive us to property since it was not on GPS. We had to park and walk over bridge in dark to get to the property and there was no lights to see. Had to use our cell phones to see to get in. The stairs in unit were shakey and we were concerned for our 4 year old going up them. Other than this it was wonderful and I would stay there again. Loved the creek hearing the running water. Beautiful property!
All good! A nice rustic experience, but with some modern conveniences. Not a bad view from any of the the windows. The porch over looking a strong running creek is delightful!
