"If you have a car rented on Lipari, and you enjoy feeling like you're miles away from anywhere, this is the spot for you. It's exactly why we booked it, and it was exactly what we expected. This remote villa is not easily accessed DIRECTLY by car. Very narrow roads to get to the parking area, which is a 3 minute walk down a rugged stone path that is somewhat steep, to access the property. It IS possible to drive down the path. "Heaven, simply just heaven! The minute we walked in hotel Ravesi, we felt like we wanted to stay forever! The reception we received from Nadia was so heartwarming, it felt like meeting a friend. Within 5 minutes we decided we wanted to stay a second night and Nadia found a way to make it happen for us. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are super comfortable, the showers are amazing, the cocktails, the food… everything is perfection. And then you've got the pool, with that view… just spectacular!! But most of all, the staff are the heart of the hotel. Take the boat tour offered by the hotel, it is such a treat. Michael was a wonderful captain and tour guide, we loved every minute of it. If you're looking to stay on Salina, you must book Hotel Ravesi. "
