"This place is truly a palazzo! The rooms are unlike any I’ve ever stayed in. The artwork, furnishings and public areas are akin to being in a museum. That being said, the room was comfortable and airy. A wonderful breakfast spread was supplied. Drawbacks: it felt slightly understaffed. A few times I went to the desk and there was nobody around. The staff I met were all friendly and helpful. Also the area is central to the historic district, which means two things: it’s crazy noisy (the hotel supplied earplugs!) and convenient to most of the great Neapolitan sites and food. "

"Naples is an interesting city, it doesn’t look the most welcoming. It has constant movement, where you’ll be dodging mopeds and has graffiti everywhere. However Relais San Severo was conveniently placed next to a main shopping street while also being tucked away enough so you don’t hear the movement and feel safe. It was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. If I ever come to Naples again, I will be a repeat customer. "
