"Residences Alizees Spa is an apartment-hotel. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and the proprietor complained about not receiving payment from the owner of the apartment prior to our arrival. He also disputed whether our reservation should be honored. We contracted through Cheaptickets to pay when we arrived. "Our stay at Lux Grande Gaube was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and a level of hospitality that truly exceeded all expectations. The food throughout the resort was fantastic, with a special mention to Bodrum restaurant, which was an absolute highlight of our stay. Every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and made for a wonderful dining experience. What really made our holiday unforgettable, however, were the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Reedoo on the beach, who went above and beyond every single day to make sure everyone was comfortable. He was incredibly attentive, always responsive, and seemed to anticipate what guests needed before they even had to ask. His friendliness and genuine care made such a difference to our experience. Elena from front of house was equally wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. She always greeted us with a smile and made us feel truly valued as guests. A special mention also goes to Maeva from the entertainment team, who took us on a fantastic bike tour around the island. Her knowledge of Mauritius was incredible, and she made us feel safe and looked after at all times, regularly checking that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She was great fun to spend time with and so patient throughout the experience. And last but certainly not least, Kamal from housekeeping deserves the biggest praise. He is genuinely one of the nicest people we"

"What an incredible stay! The team at Preskil went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their friendliness and professionalism were outstanding throughout our visit. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. Spacious, clean, beautiful decor, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Waking up each morning with a view of the ocean was a real highlight. The team at the boat house were fantastic. There were so many activities included, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend the snorkeling where you snorkel near Ile Aux Aigrettes. The stand up paddle boards and kayaks are also a must! The spa was a real treat. It was so peaceful and relaxing in the most beautiful setting by the Banyan tree. We felt so relaxed and rejuvenated that we found ourselves returning for a second visit. There are 3 restaurants at the resort with lots of variety, delicious meals and attentive service! We went with All-Inclusive which we found was very good value. The service, location, activities, and overall experience exceeded our expectations! We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return."

"Had a fantastic time! The facilities were perfrect, well maintained and clean. staff were helpful and hospitable in general. We could also see dolphins swimming near the resort. Very happy with our stay. Only minor point is that dinner reservations at the restaurants on site can be a bit tricky (e.g. we were given a later booking even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time we requested)."

"1. Excellent location of resort. Staff was very courteous..facilities are good.. Room was beach facing 2. Check in experience was bad inspite of informing upfront had to wait for over 90 minutes post international travel.. it was a downer .. 3. We had dinner in their Indian and Thai restaurants ..taste was excellent and service was very good.. 4. other locations in Mauritius are within 1- 1.5 hours drive 5. Breakfast and Dinner buffet for vegetarian food is decent."
