"The hotel was right in the middle of Stresa and a 5 minute walk from the lake. A charming hotel and friendly owner and staff. There is parking, but we were lucky to get a space as it's a public carpark."

"Perfect location, stayed in a suite, enough room for 5 people, very clean, swimming pool great, great bar/restaurant and very reasonable prices and food was delicious! You do need a car to get about. Air conditioning not great, WiFi bit weak, and not so great mosquitos! "

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im schönen Ferienhaus in Trarego. Es war noch schöner als wir uns vorgestellt hatten, super eingerichtet, alles was wir wünschten war vorhanden. Wir haben gut und tief geschlafen. Es ist absolut ruhig und die Betten gut. Unsere Gastgeberin Alessandra war immer erreichbar, hat uns die Heizung eingeschaltet als es kühl wurde. "The property was within easy walking of the main town of Stresa and much less expensive than the large hotels. It was also very convenient for accessing the ferries to the Borromean islands, a jewel of Lake Maggiore. The hotel decor was luxurious and the restaurant, which served a full buffet breakfast, overlooked a patio and gardens. The view from the roof top terrace was lovely. The only hitch was that I could not get the WiFi in my room to work so I had to use the WiFi in the main lounge. Overall, however, this was a very pleasant experience."
