"Hotel and renos were great! We really enjoyed using the fire pits while our baby slept in the room and loved the free mini golf across the road! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Two downsides for our experience: the crib we requested for our baby was pretty dirty and in definite need of a replacement, and the shower head came up to my tall husband’s chest and was leaky. Overall, a great experience at an affordable hotel, and hard to beat its location! "

"It's looks rundown on the outside but my room was renovated. Room was clean beds were comfortable. Water pressure isn't top notch but it's hot. This is a convenient location. I was visiting family in Port Alberni I was about ten minutes to town and anywhere from 30 minutes to hour and half to anywhere else. Depends on where you want to sight see etc. "
