"We had a fantastic stay at Epavlis Meteora Suites during our time in Greece! The owners, Spyros and Mary, were really friendly and made us feel at home, welcoming us with cherries from their tree. The property is really well kept with great views of the Meteora rocks on one side and Kalabaka/plain of Thessaly on the other. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. "We came to Meteora because of the monasteries, but absolutely loved the area itself. The scenery is spectacular, serene, and had a really tranquil vibe to it. The hotel was great, the staff really special. They helped us arrange a special father’s Day dinner, custom food order prepared in the hotel kitchen and served with style and grace. Special thanks for this experience to our server Georgia and the chef Niko! Highly recommend doing the hike up to the Holy Trinity monastery from Kalampaka. It’s off the beaten path and a strenuous hike up but we found it to be the one monastery with a true monasterial atmosphere. "
