"Sweet property about 1km from town which has a fabulous market and good beach. The property had adequate facilities just need to be aware that the bedroom is across a gravel path from the living space and loo."

"The property was just what we wanted as a base in La Flotte to discover Ile de Re. It was clean, quiet and in easy reach of the town and harbour. Most other villages were easily reached on cycles hired from our excellent host Jean Michel. Merci beaucoup!!"

"There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"The property is well fitted out and has everything one needs for a trouble free and relaxing holiday. I surrounded by farms and hence is peaceful and very quiet at night. Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Jard sur Mar is only about 10 miles away and is a lovely seaside town with a fine harbour and is well worth a visit, as are the other towns and villages in the region. I will definitely consider returning in the future."

"Well presented property, conveniently located for the town and the bus from the airport. If I have one suggestion, it would be to include some kitchen basics - bin liners, washing up liquid and a couple cloths. These have all been at other similar properties. Other than that everything was very good."

"Met the charming hosts at the property not realising they moved out for us to move in ! No problem we were shown around by them to a beautiful house which was plenty big enough for 4 couples and three children . Very clean property ,good outside terrace for eating and a really warm pool , grounds large and plenty of private parking, with a short walk to the pretty local town with local bars ,restaurants, boulangerie and well stocked supermarket . Only downside lack of basic crockery particularly...

"Beau séjour dans un gîte bien situé, bien entretenu et très propre. Les hôtes qui vivent à proximité sont à la fois accueillants, bienveillants et discrets. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et donne du cachet à l'endroit tout autant que l'aménagement intérieur décoré avec goût. Mention particulière pour les sanitaires de belle dimension et bien équipés. L'espace de séjour nous a semblé par contre assez réduit (et nous n'étions que 4), la batterie de cuisine pourrait être un peu plus étoffée....

"Super séjour. Très bon accueil de nos hôtes. Tout au long de nos vacances échanges tres agréables avec des petits conseils sur les choses à voir et faire. Logement confortable et très bien équipé. De plus le Nymphéa avec sa terrasse, vue sur canal est bien situé, au calme. Pedalos et barques à disposition, un vrai plus. Nous recommandons vivement."
