"The hotel is a bit old, but it’s clean and well maintained. The room was spacious enough for a family of 3–4 people and offered great value for the price. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. Most hotels in this area are narrow, vertical buildings due to limited space, so don’t expect an elevator in every property. The staff were always ready to assist and greeted guests with a smile, which made the stay even more pleasant."

"Breakfast was good with good selection and variety. The room was a good size and worked well for our family. The location is a little confusing with two different areas coming up on the map, but we were able to find it ok and I like the actual property location better due to being a little less busy area. We found a local playground and soccer field just a few minutes walk from the hotel. I believe the listing mentioned pools on the property, but they were actually referring to the hot springs...

"Property is good choice for overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that my standard room was inside with window facing internal corridor. Right next to elevator means you get noise but at least I didn’t hear the train. Booked at last minute so was expensive for what I got. Staff excellent/helpful. Overall hotel meets 3 star rating."

"This property is 80 steps from the street so prepare for that. That being said it was a fantastic stay. The property owners were helpful, friendly. Our room was clean and spacious, we would definitely stay here again! It was a little hard to find because it's so far off the street look for gringo bills and turn right before you get there.."

"Great location! Steps from some of the best restaurants, the train station, and bussing up to Machu Picchu. If you get a room facing the river, the views are magnificent. The constant roar of the river rapids makes for great sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in other hotels in this town, as well as looked into just about all of them. For the price, the suites facing the river are the best I have found."
