"Lovely property and lovely staff at pub. Great food and drink and very friendly service. Amazing value stay. Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. Bad luck for us but otherwise would have been great."

The cottage is in a nice quiet location just outside the small town of Holmfirth with plenty to do in the area and some nice pubs/restaurants only a few minutes away. "For starters the host is lovely and very accommodating. The cottage has parking for 2 large cars which is ideal for the size of the property. Everything inside the cottage was clean. The decor suited the property. Everything you needed was there and I loved having all the blankets. The hot tub was fantastic. I really can’t fault the property at all. I would definitely come back. The location is great. All the little villages worth a visit. So many canal walks. We hopped on the train on Saturday...

"A large and immaculate house. Perfect for large family group of various ages. Kitchen room was lovely and great size bedrooms. We made use of the hot tub a number of times. The games room was very disappointing though. The local area has a number of attractions and perfect for few days away."
