"The houseboat was in a great location for us - really easy to get the bus into Amsterdam, but quiet and near to the countryside. The bikes made it easy to see the windmills and explore the nature reserve nearby. Check in was easy and all communication was friendly and helpful. We wanted a good base where we could explore more than just the city. There’s a good supermarket a short walk away, so it was easy for us to self-cater. We loved our stay! "

"Gorgeous property, very clean and comfortable. Being able to borrow the bikes at no extra cost was wonderful.It was extremely hot when we arrived and the next day so we very much appreciated the air conditioning.Having a car would be better than on foot as we were, but the bus to the city wasn’t too difficult. Wonderful hosts, attentive and caring yet allowed us privacy.I would definitely stay here again if we were back to Amsterdam.May I recommend a visit to Utrecht, as I absolutely loved it. I also thoroughly enjoyed the lighthouse at Marken. I cycled there but my teenage daughter declined the offer, it was a tough ride but I am very glad I went. Absolutely gorgeous.Thank you George and Lia :)"

"It was a great way to take a break from busy cities. It was so relaxing we ended up adding an additional day to our stay. Don’t miss the opportunity to have dinner here- it was one of our better meals on a two trip through the Netherlands. Breakfast is pretty simple, but good enough to get your day started. "

"This hotel was in a unique location. The streets are guarded by timed entry, which made it confusing to get to the parking. The hotel staff was helpful with this experience. The breakfast was quite costly for typical offerings, but the setting was very elegant. The bed was comfortable and clean. "

"Excellent stay! Room was very comfortable and clean, great SPA facilities and a very good breakfast. We had a dinner reservation at the restaurant that wowed us on arrival but left very disappointed after the meal. Menu was disappointing and overpriced. Need to hire a new chef and less more attentive staff. "
