This was a wonderful quaint hotel. The location is idyllic, with a beautiful garden overlooking a canal. The restaurant food and overall dining experience is excellent. Nicolas the manager/owner could not have been more accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel.

Close to bus transportation, walkable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfasts included. Dinner was delicious with good variety of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. Many good bathroom products to use. Close to cheese museum and shops. Charming and by the canal. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Very peaceful and beautiful location, very good canal side restaurant and bar, with other restaurant options a few mins walk away. Easy 25 minute regular bus into Amsterdam central, buses take contactless payment. Potentially a better option than staying in Amsterdam centre if you don’t want to be there beyond 11pm. Free parking nearby. Rooms comfortable and fan provided without asking when hot. I actually cannot fault.

This hotel is an excellent value and a cultural treat. The location provides easy access to Amsterdam and is nearby the very interesting Zaans Schans windmills museum. The staff could not be more lovely and the entire experience of the hotel and restaurant are very romantic.

prijs kwaliteit verhouding is redelijk, voor de prijs zijn omvang kamer, doucheruimte en ontbijt beperkt maar voldoende. Personeel is vriendelijk en ligging is heel mooi.

Das Hotel ist das schönste Gebäude der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr rustikal ausgestattet, jedoch sauber und passend zum Ort. Kleinere Problemchen wurden umgehend durch das durchweg freundliche Personal behoben. Mankos: SEHR steile Treppen und ein öffentlicher Parkplatz, auf dem man tagsüber alle 4 Stunden sein Auto umparken muss.
