"Beautiful clean property just as described. Close to the beach/ wildlife, supermarket, and restaurants. The little pool in the back was perfect for a cool dip on hot days. Kitchen included everything we needed to cook at home. Would definitely recommend and stay again on a future visit."

"Amazing view of the jungle and whale’s tail from the balcony. Very secluded and clean property. The bird watching from the property was also top tier (bring binoculars, you won’t regret it). AC in the bedroom worked very well for a comfortable sleep. You will NEED a 4X4 if driving yourself up the mountain to the property!"

"The location of the property is beautiful, set back from the road and elevated for a great view of the Pacific. We particularly enjoyed the Happy Hour each day at 5:00 to enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The pool, the colorful plants, the toucans, tanagers, orapendulas and numerous other birds added so much to our visit. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Our 5 days spent at Cristal Ballena were top notch!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was probably the best set up I have seen. They had eggs for us to cook in the morning and their pots and pans were mostly stainless steel so that was much appreciated. They had nice cold filtered water for us also. We enjoyed the pool. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again"

"Wonderful trip!! We brought 13 family members and it was great for all ages. The home was stunning and taken very good care of! The pool was so lovely.Patricia the property manager was a rockstar! Incredibly helpful setting up outings, always responsive, and very helpful on all recommendations.We went on three excursions, horseback riding, a catamaran dinner cruise, and an ATV tour! All were so awesome! The kids just loved all of them. We also hired Chef Pedro and his mother Lorena to make dinner several of our nights there, and OMG, worth every single penny! The food was out of this world.Highly recommend this place! We would definitely go back!"

" We stayed at Casa Oropéndola at Canavida Resort from March 31st to April 4th, and it was nothing short of magical. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked into the lush hills of Uvita with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and tropical birds, then taking a dip in our own private pool while watching the sunrise—unreal. The 2-bedroom home is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and eco-luxury. Everything was spotless and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home. We spent most of our time outside on the patio or in the pool, soaking in the peaceful vibes. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the beaches, waterfalls, and the national park, but still feels totally secluded and serene. The drive up is part of the adventure (definitely recommend a 4x4), and the views are 100% worth it. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return.
