The staff was wonderful and good to bounce ideas off of. I was comfortable here and the places is easily walkable to beaches on each side of the city along with plenty of bars and restaurants. I enjoyed Punta del Este more than Montevideo despite being a bit of a history guy and generally liking capital cities. Also, Jose Ignacio is a short trip up the coast and it's absolutely beautiful there.

Staff (Alfredo very friendly and helpful very professional); but hotel very old and dirty. Hotel pictures don’t let them fool you rooms are moldy and humid regardless of air conditioning. Very limited breakfast, not worth it. A ton of mosquitoes and bedroom comforters have period blood stains on them. When you ask for room service all they do is flip the comforter over so it seems clean but they make the bed with the same sheets and no cleaning. Nothing stolen which is good. In the bathroom when we first got there, it was humid and there was a dead cockaroack waiting for us in the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting Don’t WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Chill in an oasis among the high rise.

Wonderful family friendly simple hotel near the beach. No great glass and marble lobby. Very relaxing.

Pousada em Punta

Ficamos 3 noites e vale ressaltar que o atendimento e atenção foram ótimos. Quanto ao quarto, ficamos decepcionados pois pelas fotos tivemos uma percepção bem diferente. Ele era bem apertado, assim como seu banheiro que para completar tinha o teto mais baixo. Enfim, consideramos que o custo/beneficio nao compensou.

O hotel é um tanto simples, familiar, mas de muito bom gosto. Tudo é bem cuidado e o salão do café da manhã é um destaque à parte. É muito bem localizado, o meu quarto era pequeno mas muito confortável e limpo (e bem decorado). Ótimo café da manhã! Ficaria novamente. Fortemente recomendado!

O hotel é super fofo, os recepcionistas são super atenciosos e solícitos, limpeza impecável em todas as instalações do hotel. O café da manhã é simples, mas dá pra ver que tem muito amor e é muito bom, amamos. A localização é perfeita, uma quadra do mar e umas 3 quadras do monumento Los Dedos. Voltaria, com toda a certeza. Cama e roupa de cama muito boas, tendo uma excelente noite de sono. O chuveiro é otimo e relaxa bastante. Único ponto a se melhorar seria uma porta no box, pois só tem de um lado, mas mesmo assim, acaba molhando bastante o chão na hora do banho.

Muito insatisfeito pelas condições do quarto 104 que fiquei hospedado. Única noite que hospedamos choveu na madrugada. Neste quarto há um “puxadinho” (ampliação) coberto com telha metálica e com forro simples. Com a chuva sobre este telhado, imagine a barulheira que foi! Impossível dormir! Fora as fronhas sem lavar, muito fedido! Realmente insatisfeito. Atendimento ok.

Hospedagem Regular

O hotel (diria pousada) é aconchegante e bem familiar. O café da manhã tinha muito poucas opções. No primeiro dia, pedi ovo e não tinha; no segundo, perguntei novamente pelos ovos e fui informado que seria cobrado 3 dólares por dois ovos, caso eu quisesse tal alimento (no check-out, o proprietário dispensou a cobrança). Tive um pequeno problema ao levar uma bebida para tomar na área comum do hotel. A princípio, o proprietário negou, pois disse que outros hóspedes poderiam querer fazer o mesmo. Perguntei se havia aquela bebida (uma simples cachaça Ypióca 150, nada de especial), que eu pagaria no bar, sem problemas. Não havendo a bebida, eu pagaria pela "rolha" o valor que ele me cobrasse, apenas não abriria mão de tomar a minha bebida. No final, o proprietário permitiu que eu tomasse, solicitando que a garrafa ficasse embaixo da mesa. Não me cobrou, mas não achei a solução adequada (um pouco amadora), pois eu me disponibilizei prontamente a pagar para tomar a minha bebida no local. Voltaria a me hospedar no Blu Inn, apesar dos mencionados contratempos.
