"This is probably the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed. I have written many reviews and never have I ever had the pleasure to write such a glowing compliment about a place we have stayed . We spent only one night here, but we have been overwhelmed by the hospitality of the hotel staff . We were greeted by Giuseppe at the front desk who upgraded us to a suite and very kind. The room had the view of the front garden and swimming pool- it felt serene. The bathroom had great selection of toiletries and the shower was very comfortable. We went to the spa which is honestly spectacular . We took the hammam treatment and Paulo did a great job . He informed us that he has been working in this spa for over 10 years and really takes care of the spa like it’s his own . Then we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were blown away by the hospitality of the chef’s team and Santoni our server. Every dish was meticulously prepared and they really took care of us with no compromise of service and flavour. The stuffed ravioli was a taste sensatio. The breakfast was yet another spectacular event. The hot eggs and pastries were exquisite and Jimmy our server was kind and attentive and took initiative really look after us. Isobella at the reception was lovely .The thing we took away from staying here 1 night is that the staff love their job and it is because of this dedication to attention & professionalism in every tiny detail that makes this the best hotel we have ever stayed."

"There were things we've appreciated, such as friendly host, who tried his best to help us, cheerful dog and cheap price. However the list of disappointing things is much longer. The biggest problem was dirty towels with black spots, which looked like it fell on the floor. Midsize towels were almost clean, but two big towels had a significant dirt. The toilet had a leak, so the host asked us to close the input valve after every use of the toilet. These two problems must be fixed before hosting anyone, but a few other issues I'd like to mention below. There were rust in the bathroom, the drain was dirty and after taking a shower the water leaked from shower cabin. We've stayed during winter and to hear cold room we've used Air conditioner. However it produced a screaming noise every couple hours which woke up us in the middle of the night, when we complained the host said it's normal. Hair dryer was also dirty and sticky to touch, we assume it had never been cleaned before. The room smell bad as if someone smoked inside some time ago. We appreciated to meet the host personally and we hope our feedback can improve the accommodation in the future."

"The accommodation is perfect. Every bedroom is a good size, each has a TV with Netflix, and all proper double beds. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, and the welcome package contained really useful and sensible things like spaghetti and passatta, wine amongst other things. Definitely the most thought through and generous welcome hamper/ package I have experienced. The living area is perfect, with a big table, comfy couch and TV with PS4 which has decent games with it if the kids need down time. The two bathrooms are as required, and good. Everything indoors is well thought through for families staying. Iron, ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher etc - all easy to use and work. The pool area is excellent, and the pool itself is also excellent. It has a deep and shallow end, and our 7 year old was more than OK in it. There are some inflatables/ pool toys that can be used which was a bonus. There is a side area for outdoor cooking which is a good bonus, but we did not use it. The location is a 20 minute drive into Syracuse. If you stay here, you must have a car. There are no shops/ restaurants within walking distance (I think). Fabrizio is the most attentive host I have experienced. The PS4 was playing up and he came to check it and sort it. The gas had run out for hot water, so he went straight to get it refilled and was back in 15 mins. Communication beforehand was perfect and plentiful. If you think this place will suit your needs, it definitely well. Brilliant!"

"This is an attractive, comfortable and practical house that makes for a relaxed and stress-free stay, facilitated by Andrea, who is a kind, responsive and organised host. He is true to his word, generous with local advice and attends to queries efficiently. Highlights are the wonderful pool, garden and outside patios - it's outdoor living at its best. We had the use of the whole space and relished the privacy that offered us. Everything was in working order. The spacious bedrooms are adequately cooled by the fans; although the showers are small, the bathrooms function well. The downstairs kitchen is well-equipped, with lots of lovely crockery and glassware. This was a wonderful spot for a family reunion, thank you, Andrea."

"Beautiful property located 10 minutes from Ortigia and the city of Syracuse, best to have a car. Grounds are impeccable and you can easily spend your days by the enormous pool. Breakfast is great and staff is pleasant. Rooms are super clean we smelled the cleaning products as we walked in. Air condition unit seems to need some maintenance, but still worked. If you are looking for great beaches and have a car, this is the place, within an hour or less you are at the isola delle correnti (southern most point of Italy) or San Lorenzo beach and Fontane Bianche all beautiful beaches. Recommend to anyone looking for places to explore or to simple soak up the beautiful weather on this pristine property."

"This property has not been looked after. It was not properly clean, many things were broken (shower head held straight with string, arms off chairs, the toilet seat was broken, the air con controls were lost to one bedroom meaning we couldn't work it etc), the electricity tripped multiple times a day & night and the trip box was outside of the property down the lane, the shower ran cold after 2 minutes every time, there was never any hot water for washing up in the kitchen, there were ants and biting bugs everywhere. There was insufficient provisions for a property for 9. For example, there were 4 mugs for coffee. Despite asking the local host to help, we were fobbed off with "this is normal here". We were also asked to sign a contract in Italian, and when we needed it in English we were told we were the first people ever to ask for it in English, and nothing was fixed despite us asking. A really disappointing 50th celebration. The only good thing was the pool - which was lovely. But the chairs around the pool were old and tatty."

"Was unhappy with being told that I gave the wrong information on the website from the on site person of contact he should me his email that it was a family of three and that I had to pay more for my son until I gave him my information from my email that had a family of four, then the front gate didn’t work correctly I had to adjust the motor on the inside of the door then the person who took care of the lawn asked me to water the lawn only for a couple of hours AGAIN I WAS ON VACATION AND DIDNT WANT TO CARE FOR THE LAWN,"
