"We have been staying at this location for the last 18 years, and it recently changed hands. They have done some nice upgrades but it's a work in progress. The lower scores in some areas were offset by the reasonable cost....and the fact that the A/C was great on a very hot night!"

"Our host, Michelle, is great! Very easy and efficient to communicate. The house is perfectly set up, and we can’t ask any better. It has everything you can imagine. Super clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back when we visit Montrose next time!"

"We wanted to visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and found Cedar Creek Lodging to be a convenient location. We booked a Tiny House unit and didn't know what to expect except it's going to be a small place. To our pleasant surprise the Tiny house was cozy and has nice pine wood finish inside. Modern LED lighting. Microwave oven, fridge, shower, toilet, and a tiny sink next to the shower. The WiFi is a little spotty couldn't get good connection to Internet."

"This camper was super clean and cute. Just the right touches everywhere to make it feel comfortable and special, even though it’s a deliberately simple place. We have stayed at rentals that cost thousands and they have not been as organized, WELL STOCKED, and quality experience as this. We truly felt like welcome guests. Having coffee by the fire as the sun rose over the mountain and field this morning was the perfect start to our day in the national park."

"Sitting on the back porch and watching the sunrise every morning, while the deer and prairie dogs go about their business, was incredibly peaceful. There were some flies to be dealt with upon arrival, and the bed was... Not great, but aside from that, you are getting exactly as it seems. A very quiet, secluded, peaceful space with not just an incredible view, but an environment that is alive."

"The perfect spot for our short visit to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The house was ideal for our family of four adults. It is well-equipped and super accessible to the grocery store and restaurants. The house was clean, lots of towels, comfy beds, perfect kitchenette, and a great space to gather and hang out. Cat responded so quickly to any questions. She was a great host. Highly recommend this lovely home!"
