"Firstly Anni is an excellent host. Great communications throughout with plenty of ideas and local information.... and more when you meet her! We had a couple of minor issues whilst staying there, but once again she was fantastic and sorted them out quickly! The Gite is what I would describe as typical for the area. Quite dark inside, but lots of character. Clean on arrival and had all we needed. Pool was well used by us, better on hot days.... bit nippy on moderate days! All in all a good...

"We found the accommodation well equipped. Location was ideal food shop across the road. Major supermarket Super U 500 metres away. Parking outside was ok as no traffic wardens .....2 doors down was a Boulangie , next door cheese shop. In the main square plenty of restruarants and local market on Monday morning well worth a visit. Good communication with owner."

"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"L emplacement du gite est idéal pour visiter le secteur , Mirepoix ,Foix ,Carcassonne. L environnement est très agréable. Le gite est ideal pour un petit chien comme le notre car nous avons disposé d un jardin clôturé. Le gite est très mignon mais un bémol, l absence de volets .La piscine est un véritable plus, elle est très belle et très appréciée avec les fortes chaleurs . A recommander."

The location feels remote ( a lovely little village with a gorgeous backdrop of hills & mountains) but is a short ten minute drive to get everything you might need. We loved the terrace (& the sun!) But could also imagine it is a lovely autumn and winter retreat. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!"

"If you are looking for peace and beauty, then the situation of this home is perfect. Every day you will be greeted by two fab ponies and inquisitive chickens. Yes, a car is needed for exploring, but there was something so relaxing about coming home to the tranquility of the countryside. Plenty of walks nearby and only a couple of hours from the Pyranees, I would recommend this home if you are looking for an escape."

"What a wonderful stay we had with Sarah. Communication with Sarah was quick and friendly, and check in was straightforward. The gite was perfectly clean, and so well equiped. They had a travel cot, highchair and all sorts of other bits and bibs for our little ones to enjoy. The setting itself was beautiful, well into the countryside and so peaceful. "Just back from 5 days staying in Fanjeaux at Danielle and Denis's lovely little gite. Communication with Danielle was very smooth as was checking in. The apartment is underneath the hosts accommodation but is still very private. The gite is very well equipped and has plenty of outside seating areas and an awesome pool which is shared with hosts. "Not a great experience. They never replied to my emails asking about facilities. Confirmation and T&C's only sent to me on day of arrival. It only took 5 hours for someone to give us a key to get in. Oh and don't forget to take your own cups and glasses to make up for what's missing. It's a great shame as if some effort was made it would be a great base for a cheap getaway. "
