"Arrived after-hours, so followed instructions and collected our room keys which were waiting for us at Oz’Inn, just 2 minutes walk from Natureva Spa. Had 2 consecutive bookings (3N each) and the next day we asked reception to keep us in the same room - they obliged and we were able to keep the same room for all 6 nights - reception and admin staff were very helpful! The 1-bed apartment is well equipped with kitchen equipment, TV, etc. For a small fee you can use the washer and dryer behind reception to do laundry. The Cap d’Agde resort itself is good - it’s great to be ‘free’ and safe around the apartment, on the beach, and even walking around the rest of the complex, but we kept things mainstream. The 2 supermarkets (the Spar in Heliopolis, and the Casino in Port Ambonne) are both well-stocked). There’s a self-service laundry (in Heliopolis) despite other reviewers saying that this facility was lacking, and there are many bars and eateries to suit your taste (not catering well to those with allergies or intolerances). There are many shops (in Heliopolis and Port Ambonne), so don’t worry if you forget anything, or want to dress up for a Cap d’Agde ’party’. Natureva Spa itself has an extensive spa menu, indoor pool, sauna, hammam, etc. (not 24/7). If in Cap d’Agde again, we’d likely stay at Natureva Spa. "

"Hotel was disappointing. We booked the largest suite with the rooftop terrace that we were not allowed to use. They told us it had safety issues. So we paid for the terrace but got no terrace and no reduction in price. The shower did not drain so flooded every time we took a shower, even when it was just 5 minutes. The hot tub in the room also leaked which explains the sewage smell. The staff knew. We saw them open all the windows and terrace doors when they were cleaning. The smell was wretched. We had to sleep with the windows and terrace door open which lead to lots of mosquitos and horrible bites. We left two nights early knowing we wouldn’t get a refund but they still charged us all the taxes. Don’t do the hotel breakfast. Not worth the €25 per person. Going in September meant the bar upstairs had no attendant. You have to call down to have them bring anything up. Not something you expect from a 5 star hotel. It was truly a 4 star hotel that needs a lot of maintenance. "
