"This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. "This was such a great location for us since we wanted to appreciate the weather. The rooms were super clean and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The bathrooms were very clean. Everything else was outside so we could really enjoy the warmth after flying from single digit temperatures. "

"The location of the hotel is first rate. It is right on the beach, which is one of the best beaches I've visited. Very easy to navigate the hotel, pool area, beach, restaurants. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. This was my second trip to the Royal Sonesta in San Juan. I hope there is a third!"
