"The hotel is perfectly situated for amazing lake views. The staff is friendly, breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. The reason it's not a 5-star review is (1) they failed to service our room one of the three days we were there and (2) there were some condition issues of the hotel grounds - the hot tub was questionable at best and the dock on the lake was dangerously weathered. Despite that, I would recommend."

"Typical wooden structure for this area, pleasant gardens, heated pool, spacious room: we had booked a twin and got a family room. A more interesting breakfast than most places we have stayed. Good value evening meal deal on offer. As it would have been a trek along the dirt road into town, we were glad of this opportunity. The staff were very pleasant though little English was spoken. "The property is very new, but we believe that they are falling behind on maintenance and cleaning. My wife noted that the floors were dirty, something that had to be pointed out to me. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning natural beauty surrounding the property, the location alone is worth the visit. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of architecture and elegance, my room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Service at Llao Llao is exemplary. Every staff member I encountered was warm, courteous, and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Speaking of dining, the culinary offerings at Llao Llao are exceptional.
