They stayed completely separate downstairs, and left you to your own devices. Downside would be the 2 shared bathrooms, although you hardly notice that other people are staying there and using them, and they were cleaned multiple times a day. "Food is pretty bad. The pool is nice and there are nice balconies in the rooms. The facility is a bit dated and things are pretty banged up. Its not 5 minutes to the beach more like 20-25 up a sognificant hill. "
"This small hotel is the best I have stayed for a long time. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to please you with answers about any concerns or curiosities you have for the town and close areas. The location is perfect. Cleanliness is spotless. The room was ample and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with abundant and many cold or hot choices.
We regret we could not stay more days and enjoy this gem of a hotel in Almunecar. Excellent!"
