"It was great! Nice king bed and spacious room! Only issue I didn’t like was the entrance, you have to enter through a tequila shop and after hours late at night, you just have to hope the security guard is there to let you in. I didn’t have an issue during my stay, but I prefer knowing I can come and go as I please whenever with a hotel that has a 24/7 front desk."

"The place is a little sketchy but worked for a one night stay pinch. I like a firm bed…… this bed was like concrete! Don’t try to use the bathroom for real because you can’t flush the paper. Although if you’re looking for a super cheap getaway, I’d still look elsewhere UNLESS they change their beds. You can always walk to the mall to use those bathrooms so you can actually flush. "The property is exactly as advertised. It is a bargain for its location, just 3 blocks from 5th Avenue and from the beach in the very nice and modern Colonia Zazhil-Ha. There are some very nice outdoor spaces, a plunge pool, and the room is well appointed comfortable. There’s a Roku TV, a coffeemaker, refrigerator, hot plate, breakfast bar, AC, even a book shelf with books. when you’re in Playa, you probably won’t spend much time in your room, but it’s nice to have a comfy, affordable option...

"It was in a great location. We stayed inside a jungle in a cabin like room. However they need to improve the services and amenities inside the room. It has lack of lighting, one fan at the corner is not sufficient, no paper towel, bin inside the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner other than the body wash. The bed was stinky, not enough hangers. Overall the amenities need to be improved a lot based on the rent they are charging."

"Dan and Cindy were amazing hosts. Great communication, we had treats waiting for us, and the place was charming. Not to far from downtown (walking distance) and close to taxi intersections. We rented a scooter and was delivered to Los Alcatraces (property) thanks to Dan and Cindy’s connections, and that was the way to go. We enjoyed tremendously our time there!!! Highly recommended."

"Beautiful balcony to relax on and enjoy the fabulous view. Everything we needed was there, the lagoon is great for kayaking and swimming, and the owner was a delight. We highly recommend this unit and would definitely go back. We enjoyed outings to nearby Yal Ku for snorkeling and Xpu Ha beach where the locals go. A day trip to the ruins and cenotes at Coba was worth the journey, and the shrimp tacos at Kaab Hotel in Coba were the best we've ever had."

"The view was better in person if that can be possible. The beach clean and quiet. The unit stocked with all the essentials. Pull out couch in livingroom very comfortable and the location is amazing! Easy 1 minute walk to restaurants, stores and shops. Linda definitely went above and beyond with our stay."
