"We have rented this property many times over the last 17 years with the same owner - we honeymooned there in October 2009 and come back as often as we can!The owners are delightful to work with and very responsive. They check in via email regularly. The house is well appointed with just about anything you may need. This home is one of the original bungalows and has been lovingly updated. The location is perfect if you desire a quiet, ocean front location with close proximity to the resorts, the beach and Waimea not far away. This trip we saw a lot of wildlife - dolphins, turtles, eels, birds and fish in addition to the neighborhood turkeys! We will be back as soon as we can!"

"Our party included an extended family of 13 ranging from grandparents to grandkids. The house was a perfect fit with Hawaii style and comforts. We happen to be there when Hurricane LaLa was approaching and the host and his onsite overseer were proactive in communication. When the power went out that communication and care continued. If you’re going to be stuck due to bad weather, power outages, and closed state beaches, you can’t beat Puako. So many places to access snorkeling and sunsets. The house is a great location to discover Waikola, Kohala, and Kona. All in all, we’re grateful to our hosts for making sure we could enjoy the house safely and comfortably the whole time."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach-facing property. The location was fantastic, with gorgeous views and easy access to the beach. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything we needed was provided. Waking up to the ocean view every morning was definitely a highlight. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing home- phenomenal beach and coral reef to snorkel. We really appreciated all of the water, shoes and snorkels that were available. We saw sea turtles, colorful, fish, and so many other sea wildlife animals while we were there. The house itself is gorgeous and extremely well taken care of. Super well organized kitchen. It was our favorite place out of the four places we stayed on vacation in Hawaii."
