"My Dad’s funeral was today. My parents have lived on Houghton Lake for 20 years, but we decided to rent from this host to free up room in their house for other guests. Property was immaculate, every amenity one might forget was available at the property, and they left an amazing apple/ caramel pie for us. There is a fire pit in the fenced in yard and wood is provided. They even allowed us to extend our stay way past the normal checkout time as I requested based on the timing of the funeral. I highly recommend this property and host!"
