The surprise was the Sala della Musica (Music Room), a veritable treasure trove of historic musical instruments from woodwind to stringed going back to the 10th century. It was fascinating, not least of all to view a forerunner of the bagpipes that the Irish and Scots have claimed for decades. Their piece de resistance however, is a bone flute, claimed to be the oldest musical instrument in the world. They have a local musical group that plays, it must be something special, but we will never get to hear them.

"Arrived unable to access apartment due to construction going on which we were unaware of. The area in front of the access door was completely blocked by contractors vehicles with wire fence and orange tape. After making enquires it was ascertained this was the access to apartment, on entering with our bags we had to make our way through dust construction debris and 8-10 workman carrying bucket loads of construction material which they were emptying on their truck parked outside the apartment...

"Der einzige Sache, die in zwei Wochen sehr gut gewesen, der Mann an der Respiration und der Rest schlecht Zimmer sehr klein und sehr teuer. Für was frage ich mich auch. wird gekocht und und gegessen, und geschlafen in einem Bereich und ich musste zwei Woche draußen essen, weil ich starke Allergie von Essen Geruch habe und da konnte ich leider nicht schlafen wann Essen Geruch im Raum ist wo ich schlafen muss. So schlecht habe ich noch nie erlebt"
