"We (2 adults and two kids) had a great time at Dongo in Spring 2016 living in this wonderful house. Village and beach are both reached within 15min by foot so we did not need the car to go shopping or swimming. The house itself is very well equipped with everything you need to cook meals. What we liked best was to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view upon the lake and the village. Also, the owners who live nearby are very friendly and were happy to help us whenever we needed help. To sum it up...

"The appartment was very clean and neat, located very close to the lake, main plaza, good restaurants and a ferry. Franco and his wife Giusy warmly welcomed us and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. Colico is a lovely quiet town we would love to come back."

"We stayed a few days in Veracana in the Casa Lady which was our base during our canyoning trip and it was perfect. The house is located in a small village with a magnificent viewpoint, shops nearby and a great pizzeria with a breathtaking view of the lake. The Casa is large and well appointed, and it has a terrace where we were able to eat."

Die Matratzen sehr weich, Federkern und für 2 Personen mit einer großen Matratze sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn sich eine Person dreht. Die Spiralen haben sehr laut gequetscht, das sollte man wissen. Ein paar mehr Regalböden als Ablage Fläche und auch Handtuch Halter im Bad wären schon hilfreich gewesen. Die Dusche war sehr klein aber funktionierte einwandfrei. An den...

"Wir waren zu viert mit 2 Hunden 1 Woche im Casa Romantica. Es war wunderschön. Es hat alles was man braucht. Schöner Garten mit grossem Pool. Zum See nur 1 Minute zu Fuss. Am See sind kaum Leute (hat genug Platz). Der Gastgeber wohnt in der Nähe und ist sehr zuvorkommend. Einkausmöglichkeiten mit Auto ca. 15‘ entfernt im riesengrossen Iperal. Da findet man def. alles!"

The children were able to play around the house because no cars could drive in the immediate vicinity due to the winter conditions.There was also the opportunity to go sledding right in front of the house. The ski lift was also only a few hundred meters away.The board games and the electronics kit were also met with great enthusiasm.Many thanks to Alex and Erica."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Michelangelo. The house is spacious and clean and has a fantastic view of the lake. It is a great place to stay to explore the lake and surrounding villages. "

"This place is about 20 minutes from city center, not far from the lake. There is a Lidi supermarket at the ground floor. Watch out - the room lacks some of the basic necessities, not even a box of tissues. The electric stove does not work in the room, so we just eat out. We have been to a few different hotels and apartments in Switzerland during our trip. so far this is the worst place we have been to. "
