"Was put in a terrible room with peeling bathroom wallpaper and old damaged furniture by a front desk person who had one of the most fake and forced hospitality "smiles" I have ever seen. Gave me Hotel California vibes. Brrrr. Thankfully, I was upgraded by the lovely and pleasant day manager to a better room (which was not all that much better in terms of the rattiness of the furniture, but at least it had a nice bathroom, although the upgrade did not have a microwave - tradeoffs seem to be de rigueur for this property -- great location, spotty service). Note that the gym is an afterthought. Not all that functional and not all that clean. More than 4 people working out can be uncomfortable. The towel rack in the gym is so rickety that it would likely fall over if someone accidentally leaned on it. A hazard waiting to happen. There is a Whole Foods literally next door to the property. Great for travelers with many dietary restrictions like me. I stayed here three times. The other two stays were fine, so I may return if the price is right, chalking up my latest stay experience to bad luck."

"Looking out over the harbor and down Long Wharf. Walking distance to Aquarium, Quincy Hall, Faneuil Hall, and Old State House. The restaurant in the hotel gives a discount to guests staying at Harborside Inn for dinner. Their coffee is delicious! The hotel does not have a shuttle to the airport, but you can take the train or Uber/Lyft for a reasonable price. Also walking distance to the train North station for longer trips."

"Pros: Convenient location near convention center and Silver Line. Excellent gym. Cons: limited takeout and late night dining options nearby. Destination fee not well disclosed when I made the reservation. Hit my head on the shower door every time I got out."

"Battery Wharf Hotel is PHENOMENAL ‼️ EVERY SINGLE Staff member goes ABOVE & BEYOND !!! They truly EXCELL at Customer Relations- even anticipating your needs!! The Hotel is INCREDIBLY WELL APPOINTED, down to every last detail!!!! Location is FANTASTIC!! Close to Quincy Market, The Aquarium, The North End Restaurants, Government Center- ALL walking distance!!!! SOO close to everything, but the moment you walk into the Hotel, it’s like being in a RELAXING SPA!!! Soooo relaxing & tranquil!!! Will ABSOLUTELY BE BACK& HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"Great location in the Boston Seaport. New and very clean. However, the room was tiny. Not at all like the pictures. If it was a queen bed, she was a small queen. The bartender in the lobby bar was friendly and helpful as were the staff at the registration desk."
