"Lovely clean room, satnav found location but there were shrubs over the brown sign so it took us a little while to find the accommodation. Key lock Box worked well giving us flexibility for check in."

"My family and I enjoyed the stay at this property. Beds were comfortable, hot showers and plenty of bath water for a long soak after walking up Pen Y Fan which is just down the road. Kitchen well equipped, lots of space at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep which is normal for this type of cottage. There is a lovely outdoor space at the back. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. "

"Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. "

"Lynn and her team were very welcoming and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Being able to charge our EV overnight was also a huge plus. The apartment is ideally suited for short breaks and is not sure whether it wants to be a hotel suite or a self catering venue. That being said we were able to cook a lot of different meals, but a few more cleaning materials and equipment would have been welcome. "This could be a lovely property & appears to have been recently renovated to a good standard. However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge. "Ideal setting surrounded by wonderful views of the mountains with nature on your doorstep. Beautiful walks locally, especially the canal walk from your front door. Holly cottage has all you’ll need for either an active walking and sightseeing holiday or somewhere peaceful to relax, take in your surroundings and enjoy a very special part of the Brecon Beacons. 10/10 Excellent

"Always enjoy our trips to the Celtic Manor. A fantastic hotel / resort. Superb facilities for all the family, whilst also very relaxing as a couple. Superb room. We went for Signature King Room which was certainly worth the extra £20 for all the extras we got on what is in essence their executive children free floor (6th floor) with use of the Signature Lounge. We would certainly look to do this in future. "
