The hotel was very nice looking but lacked basic amenities. Our cleaning people never cleaned our room in our three day stay either. No ice machine or water filling station.
It was a beautiful clean room.. the staff was friendly and professional. My problem was the lighting.. I could not see to put my makeup on.. dark wallpaper dark ceilings just dark.. which was beautiful but not helpful to get ready for an engagement I had to go to.
I’ve stayed at the Graduate in Providence before. But this was my first time staying here in princeton. I have to say the gentleman who checked us in gave us an amazing room. The staff was incredible. The property was so nice and clean and pleasant. We truly had a wonderful evening. I’m so impressed actually I think I’ll be coming back and also recommending to friends and family in the area. I do have some connection in the area for hotels and restaurants and I will definitely be helping you guys out by giving you my seal of approval. Well done.
Hotel staff include cafe were very polite and helpful. The room was cozy.
The shower was so good. The water pressure and temperature were perfect; it was the most refreshing shower I'd ever experienced.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was quick. Breakfast on site was great. Room and common places were clean. The only problem is the room we got was very small. There was no sofa, barely had enough room to walk. Refrigerator and safe were tucked in a very small closet. It was too expensive for such a small room.
Staff are very helpful. The hotel location is great, right across the street from campus. Food was not bad. The gym is in the lower ground floor, no windows and it’s freezing but has a good choice of machines. The only negative was how the rooms were cleaned.

This hotel is the worst spatially designed hotel I have ever encountered. Check in was horrible due to the noise level, so loud that the hotel clerk and I could not communicate except through hand gestures as we could not hear each other. Apparently the hotel has no event space, as they had a wedding with a very loud band in the hotel lobby itself. In addition to the noise level, this meant that the lobby bar and restaurant and space were off limits to the hotel guests. On good thing: our room on the 4th floor did apparently have good sound proofing and was quiet.
The valet parking area similarly has no space. So that means when you wait for your car you must do a dance with people going in and out of the building and try not to have the door repeatedly shoved into you, as there is no real space to wait.
At checkout, we were not asked how we liked our stay, giving us the impression that the hotel is indifferent to their guests.
Very much regret staying here.
We had a great stay at The Graduate. Its location in downtown Princeton makes it a fun and enjoyable place to stay. The only negatives were his dark the rooms were! The decor is awesome but it’s really hard to see… especially when applying makeup! Also, our room was very small and there was not ample space to store 2 suitcases. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel. We had a great stay!
Got a room by the elevator which was awful and definitely didn’t get any rest she due to hearing every single person on and off the elevator not to mention kids running up and down the hall
The rooms were beautiful and impeccably clean, as was the lobby, and the restaurant was fantastic (hats off to the manager (a young man of 30ish) who was attentive to our food allergies. The front desk staff was friendly but not at all knowledgeable, which limited their ability to be of help. When I asked if there were any bakeries within walking distance that they'd recommend, I was told there were none in the area, yet I found one right across the street and several others within two blocks. Similar questions about the area couldn't be answered. Again, can't say enough nice things about the restaurant and rooms. Valet was also very helpful and professional.
The property is beautiful the surrounding area is very walkable lots to eat and drink. Our room was beautiful and perfect. Right in front of the Princeton school. Staff is very polite. We had breakfast at the restaurant everyday it was delicious. We had a great time. Thank you to the Director Alex for his hospitality. We will be back.
