"While surprisingly far away from Asbury Park, location turned out great for departure Tuesday morning. Best feature was three bedrooms, so couple could have one room, and each teen could have another. Also great: two bathrooms. Not air conditioned, but fans adequate this late in season, plus close to ocean. Was hard to figure out parking. Having ginger ale as well as water in fridge a nice touch. But no pillow cases on pillows, just shams. Even after we called to inquire, the "welcomer" said he...

"The home was just as advertised. We were very comfortable. It was home away from home even our dog Luna settled right in."

"This was an excellent find! The cottage itself was super cute and very functional. We brought our dogs, too, which was a HUGE benefit to be able to have them with us! The location was great -- just a quick drive to the highway, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful, responsive, and accommodating. I would definitely give this place 5 stars!!"

"Plus: clean, location to beach, sofa bed actually comfortable (although no sheets that actually fit) Not so plus: front lawn not mowed, had hard time parking on the pad (I drove a Kia Sorento, no street parking), no hand towels, wash cloths, paper towels/kitchen towels (first thing went to Target to get what we needed), no games/books/magazines, designated office area—beat up desk sandwiched next to sofa, backyard not very private, just not a super welcoming vibe. Albeit, not the worst place...
