"It was a great house and well equipped and amazing views of the ocean and sunset. The only downside side is with the frequent power outages in Eleuthera a backup generator for the property is a worthwhile investment. 5-6 hour outages daily almost totally ruined the vacation. Everything is electric, including the stove, so you can’t even cook and eat. It was hard with 2 toddlers. "

The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis. Karen has done an absolutely remarkable job renovating this part of the property - everything from the flooring to the landscaping, interior design...it was all so clean and looked new. AC in the rooms, fridge, good water...

"My stay at the Pilot House was nothing but amazing. Karen, the owner, was very responsive to messages, making sure I found the place easily and providing great recommendations around the Island. The rooms are newly renovated with a luxury hotel feeling. Staying at the pilot house was above expectations. Looking forward to staying there again."
