"Excellent location next to the river, within walking distance to everything. The chilled drinking water in the lobby was a nice touch. The room was small but comfortable, but it had a peculiar smell, maybe just from the age of the building? Despite being on the ground floor, there were stairs up and down and an awkward corridor to reach it. The restaurant was overpriced for what it offered, but it was our first night and we were too tired and jetlagged to go out in search of food."

"Everything was good for accommodating an overnight layover stay for my wife and I. Only negative comment is that the shower was a bit interesting only having half of a glass cover the one side of the bathtub. It worked for a shower it was just interesting and had a bit of leak over water. Other than that everything was clean and good for us."

"A fantastic stay from start to finish! We received a lovely warm welcome and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable, with a fridge and iron provided. The bed was really comfy and the rainfall shower was excellent. We also enjoyed the lovely bar area, and the free parking was very convenient. The cooked breakfast was excellent too. We would definitely recommend and stay again!"
