"The room was absolutely spotless. The bathroom was very clean, shower doors spotless and they are clear. Shower itself clean. No stray hairs lying around. Plenty of towels. Bed was very comfortable had a few different pillow types on bed which was excellent. Linens were white and not shredded or stained. Large TV , we barely turned it on. Did not use refrigerator or microwave. One thing I loved is the filtered wster station by the ice machine. Make sure you bring water bottles, they wanted $7 for a small bottle of water. We did not eat there or yse any amenities as we were there to visit family. I know nothing if the parking, except it is covered. The shuttle from the airport was great, however, does not run before 5am. So it does not help early travelers. All in all, for comfort, clealiness I would give it a 5/5. When we are back, we will book here again."

"My first 2 nights were horrible. I stayed in an annex type building which was like a dungeon . There was no phone and cold water coming out boiling hot. Maintenance came and resolved both quickly . However, at 3:00 am there were people screaming and slamming doors- felt like an earthquake . Just when that settled, the water pipes were moaning and squeaking loudly all morning. Then, no hot water in shower. The following night no screaming and slamming but the pipes were horrible and add some kind of drilling noise to that. I finally got moved to main tower which was satisfactory - I will never return ."

"This historic property has a beautiful back terrace looking over a wooded area that is quite peaceful. The hotel is very accessible to other areas of DC as there is a metro stop just 2 blocks away and it is near an area with shops and restaurants."

"This property is long in the tooth and in need of refurbish. It was clean as anyone could get it but stained carpeting, janky ac unit with metal hanging off it. Front desk staff was excellent and check in was smooth, Also of note if you have a car, you’re forced to download an app on your phone to pay. Not at all convenient and I’m unsure that I was aware at reservation that I would need to pay for parking. Breakfast was good and staff were once again courteous and professional. Wouldn’t boom here again; "

"This was such a bad experience. First, they charge me for my room at check in even though I paid in full when I made the reservation. Secondly, I thought breakfast was included but was informed it wasn't (not sure if I misread that). Third, I chose this place specifically for the pool just to find out they won't open it until Memorial Day weekend. I was so disappointed since my five-year-old was looking forward to some indoor pool time. Aside from that the front desk was not helpful and rude when trying to solve a parking situation. I paid for daily parking passes that were not working. The room service actually had my boys outside the room to clean it up when they were supposed to be getting ready for a 12 pm event. Overall, one of the worst experiences by Hilton. "
