"Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. Fresh juice and tea and coffee only downside you had to pay extra for a latte but not a big deal. Price was perfect as well. The village itself is beautiful so peaceful and quiet. Will be...

"One night stay in May 2024. The White Horse is a pub no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ripon and the cathedral. The rooms are converted stables at the back of the pub. The decor is basic and a little tired but if you’re going to book somewhere like this then you mustn’t expect opulence. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly stay here again on a return trip to Ripon. "

"The radiator in the room didn't work. I went to see the staff, and the boiler wasn't switched on, which is very strange for January !!. The boiler was on but the radiator didn't work on either day of my visit. 2 heaters were provided, but the person in charge wasn't aware of the issue with the boiler/radiator, which was poor in my view."

"We had a great one night stay. The room was clean, very modern and with high quality finish. Our daughter loved the high sleeper bed which was very safe. Convenient location for Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey. Plenty of parking onsite. We had a great dinner in the pub and our breakfast was delicious too. Friendly staff, would definitely stay again.
