Once we pulled into the driveway, we felt the stress of the real world melt away. Jodie made us feel at home.from the second we checked in. We stayed in the 1807 house and was not disappointed, as a fan of the old time craftsmanship of.the early homes. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast each morning was perfect, not too much of a portion where you felt stuffed, and Scott cooked things perfectly. The cottage on the water is truly immaculate and relaxing, from the wonderful decor to top notch cleanliness, we were so happy that we get to celebrate our 10 years anniversary weekend here. Very quiet and private, highly recommended

Great location and the hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. Thought the price was high for the time of year (mid- Oct). We were just there for a night so I thought it was crazy that we had to pay a resort fee considering the restaurant was not open and we were told we had to be out by 11:00am because they were closing the hotel for the week. Other than that the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Property is very close to shopping and dining and the shuttle to the casino is great.

You were a little worried about coming to this property because of other reviews but I have to say that we had an amazing time at this hotel. Our room walked right out to the pool. The hotel is across the street from junkanoo beach. It’s about two minutes away from the fish fry. The room was very nice. There were some things that didn’t work properly but nothing we couldn’t get over. The staff was really helpful and amazing there. I would stay here again, especially at a really good price.
